Web Development

Web development incorporates all areas of creating a Web site for the World Wide Web. This includes Web design (graphic design, XHTML, CSS, usability and semantics), programming, server administration, content management, marketing, testing and deployment. The term can also specifially be used to refer to the "back end", that is, programming and server administration. There are usually more than one member that works on a given Web Development team, each specialising in his or her own field.

Web logs

A blog is a user-generated website where entries are made in journal style and displayed in a reverse chronological order and usually provides commentary or news on a particular subject, such as food, politics, or local news, etc.

Web pages

A web page is a document, typically written in HTML, that is almost always accessible via HTTP, a protocol that transfers information from the website's server to display in the user's web browser

Web site design

Web design is the design of web pages, websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, images, and other media. We design web sites strategically to incorporate appearance, effectiveness, user friendliness, speed and functionality

Web site statistics monitors traffic and performance on your web site. It is a very useful marketing tool

A Web site is a collection of web pages, typically common to a particular domain name or subdomain on the World Wide Web on the Internet.

WiMAX

It has been called “Wi-Fi on steroids”; a new way to bridge the digital divide; and a “mature technology” with all the reliability and quality of a mainstream broadband medium. Simply put, WiMAX - or the Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access - is the “grown up” version of Wi-Fi. While Wi-Fi access is measured in metres (you can connect wirelessly to the Internet if you’re within a 50m or so Wi-Fi zone), WiMAX measures in kilometres. This means you can connect to the Internet from as far as 20km away from a WiMAX base station (including areas where no cellular 3G/ HSDPA coverage exists) and use applications such as video-on-demand, voice-over-IP, mobile VOIP and lightning-fast browsing.

World Wide Web

The World Wide Web ("WWW" or simply the "Web") is a system of interlinked, hypertext documents that runs over the Internet. With a Web browser, a user views Web pages that may contain text, images, and other multimedia and navigates between them using hyperlinks
